Millard North Testing Facility
Morrissey Engineering provided design services for Millard Public Schools - Millard North Testing Facility. The project created a testing facility that accommodates 200 students for ACT testing. The project also included a school entry addition and a significant remodel.

Features
- The testing lab will accommodate 225 students, with lighting carefully planned to reduce eye fatigue, and the A/V system will have a matrix input/output system for maximum flexibility.
- Designed to provide optimal thermal and acoustic comfort achieved by locating equipment away from the room to reduce noise and ability to modulate airflow to adapt to varying occupants in the room
- Lighting designers and the architectural team worked closely to achieve visual comfort goals.

- Luminance measurements exceeded the District's expectations
- The room can accommodate three smaller labs
- The video wall in the entry corridor
- Re-installation of backbone fiber distribution throughout the building to accommodate selective building demolition
- A new IP-based intercom system to allow the system to run over new fiber to accommodate selective building demolition
