The Sarpy County Law Enforcement Center in Papillion, Nebraska, was designed with sustainability and technology in mind. Morrissey Engineering collaborated with the team to provide design, energy modeling, and LEED consulting services for this new construction facility.

Mechanical system features include:
- Geothermal heat pump system
- Ground-loop system includes over 100 wells
- Ground-loop pumps controlled by Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Rainwater collection system for site irrigation
Electrical system features include:
- Energy-efficient VFD's adjust as demand decreases
- Energy-efficient lighting system adjusts as daylight harvesting is available
Technology system features include:
- Vehicle data download system via wireless 802.11
- H.264 Video Compression
- 720P to Megapixel HD IP-based Cameras
- Audiostream compressed and digitized to be saved on the same database as the video.
