Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Administration

Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and legal standards.

Support the onboarding process, including documentation, orientation, and benefits enrollment.

Manage benefits programs (health insurance, 401(k), HSA) and assist with employee communications
Compliance

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and benefit regulations.

Support internal audits and compliance reporting related to HR and payroll
Payroll Management

Accurately process payroll using ADP software

Manage payroll deductions, including 401(k) and HSA contributions

Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries with professionalism
Bookkeeping & Financial Operations

Maintain accurate records in the general ledger

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and oversee project invoicing

Use Ajera and QuickBooks for daily financial tasks and reporting
Expense Management

Process employee expense reports and ensure policy compliance
Financial Reporting

Prepare and present quarterly financial reports

Coordinate with external accounting partners for quarterly and annual tax matters.

Create executive-ready presentations based on financial analysis
Qualifications

Prior experience in both bookkeeping and human resources roles

Strong proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, and/or Ajera is a plus

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
