Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library
Morrissey Engineering was honored to provide design services for this 13th official presidential library on 50 acres in the Badlands near Medora, North Dakota. Essential to this project was sustainable design practices that honor the memory of Theodore Roosevelt, who was often considered the "conservationist president."

- Two buildings separated by a covered passageway
- The main (west) building features exhibition spaces, lobbies, and food and retail amenities.
- The secondary (east) building features a multi-purpose room, classrooms, and support and staffing areas.
- Roof design spans both buildings, including a planted roof and paved walkways connecting to overlooks.
- Construction uses locally sourced, renewable materials.
Site Amenities
Library Loop, an elevated boardwalk, connects a series of five pavilions to experience the landscape as T.R. would have experienced.
