OPS TAC Building
Data infrastructure upgrades at the Omaha Public Schools TAC Building were needed for the school district's offices in this home. Morrissey Engineering provided design services that also required a phased approach to allow the administrative offices to remain operational.

- Replacement of all network cabling, coaxial cabling, and addition of distributed internal cellular antenna system (DAS) for multi-carrier signal distribution
- Review existing network closets to determine if size and locations suit the new system.
- Design of telecommunications pathways to accommodate new cabling
- Design of telecommunications cabling systems, including fiber optic cabling, copper cables, jacks, patch panels, racks, and wire management per OPS standards
- Design of telecommunications cabling to accommodate ceiling and wall wireless access points (WAPs)
- Design of coaxial cable backbone and distribution for CATV distribution.
- Design of new intercom & paging system
- The design included phasing to ensure the network connection was not interrupted during class/work hours.
